CSRS Retirement

The Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) is a defined benefit, contributory retirement system available to federal employees hired prior to 1984.

FERS Retirement

The Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) is a retirement plan that provides benefits from three different sources: a Basic Benefit Plan, Social Security and the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP).

Thrift Savings Plan

The Thrift Savings Plan is a defined contribution plan designed to give federal employees the same retirement savings related benefits that workers in the private sector enjoy with 401(k) plans.

FEGLI Insurance

 Federal Employees’ Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) provides term life insurance and, as such, does not build up any cash value.  Federal employees may enroll in Basic Life Insurance coverage and three optional coverages.

FEHB Insurance

The Federal Employees' Health Benefits (FEHB) Program is the largest employer-sponsored federal group health insurance program in the United States.
